Overview

Members-Dating.com has the look a real dating site. It has all the functionality of a real dating site but unfortunately our investigation shows that it's not a true dating site. We went undercover as a member of this site so we could show you exactly what's going on behind the scenes that you have no clue is happening. You can read the full investigation below.

Credit Card From Porn Sites Without Our Consent

In order to do a full investigation we needed to register as a member on their dating service. This entailed registering on the site. After that was completed we were redirected to a secondary page where they had a secure upgrade form where we were supposedly required to validate that we were over a certain age (age verification). This "age verification" process they said was 100% free but for some reason they needed our credit card information. This was the first lie on this site. The age verification process is completely false. The only reason they actually want your credit card information is so they can bill it, obviously! And as you can see from the evidence below we show you the websites that your credit card gets charged from. Without your consent you are upgraded to a VIP membership, this membership enrolls you into three different porn sites. The charges are as follows, a monthly membership to VideoErotic.com at $28.87 per month, the second charge is from VibeVideo.com at $39.61 per month and the last charge is $49.95 per month from Dating Gold. If you add up all these charges they accumulate to almost $120. These are recurring charge that continuously charges your credit card every single month until you cancel those memberships. Your credit card will be charged $120 per month until you catch it on your credit card statement and finally put a stop to the fraudulent charges. Remember this was just the first scam in a multitude of different cons we uncover while on Members-Dating.com.

Our Profile Is A 66 Year Old Man With No Photos But We're Still Receiving Messages

First thing we would like to provide as proof is a screenshot of our profile page that we created for this investigation. We left everything blank purposely. We didn't upload any photographs, we left all the personal information blank, purposely. The reason we did that is we wanted to see if we would still receive email messages, instant messages and correspondence from women on the site. And just as we suspected we received a flurry of all types of communications that you will be able to read further down in this investigation. A blank profile is very important for this investigation because it proves that this site is a sham. First off we created a profile of a 66 year old man with no photograph in his profile page. Why would so many young women with nude profiles want to contact a 66 year old man who has no photograph in his profile? The answer is they wouldn't!  This is all completely fabricated using very sophisticated computer software programs that have built being built exclusively to manipulate and trick male members into believing they're being contacted by hot local women. It's all a sham being used to get male members to upgrade to paid memberships.

Computer Bot Sending Us Automated Messages

In the previous section section of this investigation we showed you a screenshot showing our profile was completely empty now but we are showing you a screenshot of just one of the many pretend instant messages that we received while we were logged into Members-Dating.com. A 37 year old female tried to contact a 66 year old man with no photograph in his profile picture, if that isn't a blatant deception then we don't know what is. But as you can see circled in red we needed to upgrade our membership in order to communicate with this person. Unfortunately this is not a legitimate female sending us the instant message, it is a computer software program called a bot. These bots have been designed and built solely for the reason of tricking people, sending them faked instant message replies. It's a well-orchestrated scam that uses sophisticated software to dupe men into upgrading their free membership.

Computer Generated Emails Are All Fake Used To Deceive Male Members So They Will Upgrade

Once again we need to remind you that for this investigation are profile is blank and we used our age to be 66 years old. But that didn't stop us from receiving email messages from a variety of different attractive looking women. If you take a look at the screen shot below you will see the various emails we got from fictitious female members on the site. This is all completely fabricated once again using very sophisticated computer software programs. These programs can send members on the site email messages that look like they're coming from legitimate female members looking to meet you. It's all the same scam over and over to manipulate people into upgrading and buying a monthly subscription on Members-Dating.com.

Fake Notifications Sent To Us By Automated Computer Bots

People running Members-Dating.com have absolutely no morals and another con that they use on their members is to send them fake notifications. You can take a look at the screen shot below it shows a variety of different notifications that we received including people sending us emails, viewing our profile and sending as instant messages. This is all completely fabricated once again using the same computer software programs. This is just more evidence to prove that this website is a complete sham.

Pretend Profiles Used To Trick Male Members Into Upgrading

Another startling fact is that the owners of Members-Dating.com are behind the fabrication of hundreds and possibly thousands of profiles that are completely fraudulent. These profiles look real to the untrained eye however they are completely bogus. The easiest way to identify a fake profile is look for the Love Stars or LS text (circled in red below). We would like to inform you this is all of verifiable fact. The fictitious profiles that the website is responsible for creating is all documented on their terms and conditions page. This is where they admit to creating fake profiles and a slew of other deceptive marketing practices that we will get to further down in this investigation.

Made Up "Love Stars" Female Profiles Used To Deceive Their Own Members

We took a screenshot of a fictitious profile who is really Debora Lyra a Miss Universe contestant who won the Miss Brazil title in 2010. You can see the corresponding blanks to show that this profile is not of a real member of this site but is a fake profile created by the staff of members dating.com.

The Terms And Conditions Reveals Their Deceptive Intentions

We saved the best for last. With all our investigations we try to provide as much evidence as possible. The best evidence we can provide you is coming straight from the horse's mouth. The terms and conditions were written by the administrators of Members-Dating.com  so in their own words they tell everyone exactly how they operate their dating site. On their terms and conditions page they confess to a number of deceptive marketing tactics that they use against their own members. Some of these tactics include creating fictitious profiles that they call "Love Stars". They also admit that they use electronic messaging such as emails and instant messages to encourage broader participation in the website Services. And they admit that you can never actually meet "Love Stars" in person proving that these are not legitimate people. For easy reading you can read the most important part of the terms and conditions page below or alternatively you can click on this link to be taken to the terms page on the Members-Dating.com site.
