Overview

In this investigation we take a close look at a dating service call FlirtyCougars.com. Flirty Cougars is a dating site built and designed to bring cougars and there admirers together. There are thousands of dating services but unfortunately picking the right dating site is like walking through a minefield. You don't know which site is going to be a scam or which one is going to be a legitimate site. With that being said we will give you all the intelligence that we've learned while being a free member on the site. You can read the full review below.

Proof Of Our Empty Profile Showing Us As A 75 Year Old Man

The first thing you do when you join a dating site is to create a member profile page and that's exactly what we did. But for these investigations you have to be creative in how you present your profile. If you want to prove a dating site isn't legitimate then you must use the right tactics. What we did in this situation was to list our age in the profile as a 75 year old man (see the proof below). On top of that we never uploaded any photographs to our profile and left all the personal information empty. With that type of profile you would assume that we would receive very few messages and no women would want to contact us. What person in their right mind would want to contact a 75 year old guy who doesn't even have any pictures on his profile page? We can all agree that receiving a large amount of email messages when your profile is listed as 75 years old without any photographs would raise a red flag. As you'll read in this investigation it didn't matter that we listed ourselves as 75 years old we still were inundated with message after message from attractive looking women in their early forties! Were these real women or was it all a facade created to make us believe they were real? Continue reading as we explain everything and give you all the proof you need so you can understand what you're getting into if you decide to join FlirtyCougars.com.

Bogus Emails Used As A Tool To Deceive People

We've already shown you our profile page lists us as a 75 year old man. Below we have a screenshot showing just some emails that we received. Like we've already said getting emails when listing yourself as a 75 year old man is ridiculous. The terms and conditions page of Flirty Cougars discusses the use of an automatic pop-up notification system that's used to send activity alerts to their members through emails.

This only goes to show you that the website is in fact trying to dupe people. The emails aren't messages that have been hand typed by mature women interested in our profile page. Even though that's what the website wants us to believe the truth is that the emails are completely automated through the automatic pop-up notification system.

You might be asking yourself why would they send out automated email messages? It's because when you try to respond to any email messages on their website you must buy an upgraded package. They want you to pay for an upgraded package so you can email other members back and forth. In our particular case the emails are completely automated and buying a package to chat with these women is a total waste of your time because the emails are all automated. We will discuss this further down in our investigation.

Dating Profiles Maintained & Managed By The Site

The dating profiles on this site are created and managed by the site (FlirtyCougars.com). You read that correctly profiles are created by the owners of the site. You might think you're viewing a hot cougar but the chances are very high that the profile page you're viewing has been created by the site!

There is no way to tell how many profiles have been created by the site and which ones are legitimate profiles created by real mature women looking for dates. This is a real problem. If you can't tell who's real and who's not real what's the point of joining a dating site? Also the fact that the dating site is creating phony profiles is something that shouldn't be happening in the first place. How can they even justify using their employees to build fake profile pages. They can't! The main reason they are making fictitious profiles is because number one such a small handful of real women join the site it's laughable. With such a small amount of real cougars registering on their website they need to create their own profiles to fill up the gap. By filling up the gap they make it appear like their are many more mature females than there truly are. It's an elaborate plan used to con thousands of men into buying upgraded membership packages.

And the real kicker is that this is not just our opinion. Their own writings (terms and conditions page) reveal that they utilize pretend profiles. They state, that they create profile pages that are managed by their their employees! This is all a verifiable fact found in section #1 of the terms.

Terms & Conditions Page Says They Create Profiles & Use Bots

The terms and conditions page has a lot of great info that explains how the site operates. Some of the most important details we found on the terms page include that they tell us that they create profiles, and they also use an automatic pop-up notification system to send you emails and instant messages. Just those two pieces of information prove to us that the website is knowingly deceiving people. If you want to read more about this and read the exact statements where they discuss the use and creation of fabricated profiles and automated messages you can visit their terms and conditions page or you can read those statements below.

  • We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained and managed by our employees ("Staff Profiles"). The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to enable us to ensure our Services are operating properly by testing the Services, features and functionalities, and to research our products and Services.

  • To boost interaction between our members and in order to notify them of newly registered matches and any activity of that new user (i.e. registration, photo upload etc.) we may, from time to time, use an automatic pop up notification system and other communication channels e.g. inbox or instant messages to send Activity Alerts to you.

  • and some auto generated Activity Alerts may require an upgraded Paid Membership in order to see the content of message and reply to it.

  • […] FlirtyCougars.com – Flirty Cougars uses fictitious profiles called "staff profiles", and they also use automatically generated email messages. These are just two methods amongst others to get you to purchase a monthly membership. This site should not be trusted. […]
