Overview

GetLaidNearby.com is a dating site using the back end technology from a company called Dating Factory. Dating Factory enables anyone to create their own online dating site. The owners of GetLaidNearby simply signed up to DatingFactory.com from there they create their website and they are enabled to use the database of members that are already established through Dating Factory. Read our review to learn what we have investigated.

Is It A Legitimate Place To Meet People?

The big question is this, do we think that GetLaidNearby.com is a scam or a real dating site. Well, first off we never purchased a paid membership on the site, we used our free membership to do this review. But from what we can tell with our free membership it doesn't seem like GetLaidNearby.com is running the same scams as other dating services that we have uncovered in the past. This site does not use (from what we can tell) automated emails, or fictitious female profiles. We could be wrong, but by reading through the terms and conditions they didn't state anything about creating any type of fictitious profiles. They also did not discuss sending fake emails to their members (like other sites we have reported on in the past). Surprisingly many of the dating sites that we have exposed for scams clearly describe how they rip people off in their terms and conditions. GetLaidNearby.com doesn't do any of that.

On top of that, we also didn't receive any chat messages or anything of that nature. We did however received one email and that was it. So we're not 100% sure if the site is legitimate or not but it's not an open scam like many other dating sites that we have reviewed in the past. You do need a paid monthly membership in order to send and reply to emails you receive something like we said we have not done. From as far as we can tell the site does look legitimate.

  • Me says:

    Probably a scam site.

A company with contact information an address in the Bahamas, a server in Switzerland, a US based phone number (New York).

I found this page through searching for the phone number (516-387-2248).  A US based phone number with an address in the Bahamas.  That seems legit right?  I found it from the registration information from a scam e-mail that I got for something else.  All traces back to the same address and phone numbers.

This is showing up on a scam e-mail for a newly registered domain on owkly.com
