Overview

Are you wondering if Meet40Plus.com is as real at it looks? With all the scams and phony hookup sites it's smart for you question this dating service is worth spending your time and money on. With over 200 reviews under our belt we are experts in investigating dating sites. For Meet40Plus we went undercover disguised as a member of the site to see what we could find out. Our investigation involved registering on the site, reading their terms and conditions as well as using special software to spot fake profile pictures. Please read the whole investigation below.

Did We Receive Any Messages?

Would you ever email or send a message to any person that didn't have a photograph in their profile? We wouldn't and we don't think you would either. So why would the women on Meet40Plus.com send us a flurry of emails making it look like they're interested in us.

Are women really that desperate and horny in the UK? Can't they find men anywhere in England? Or is something else more sinister happening behind the scenes that we don't know about. Unfortunately from our experience and history with reviewing countless dating sites it seems like something is going on that most people are not aware of on Meet40Plus.com. Why do so many women want to contact us when they don't even know what we look like! And the simple answer is this. No women are sending as emails, no women are looking at our profile, there absolutely no females interested in getting to know us or hook up with us or have sex with us! It's all a mirage, it's all fake and it's all a lie. What's really happening here that you're not aware of is that this website is deploying the use of very sophisticated high technology computer software programming called robots aka bots. These bots are used for sinister devilish reasons. These bots can mimic real web users. They can actually send people automated email messages. So for the record if you thought that you were super popular on Meet 40 Plus, we're here to tell you that's not the case! Computer bots are impersonating real people. These computer bots are being used by the dating site and the end goal is to get you to try to respond to any email messages you receive. What happens then is you will need to purchase a paid membership.

That's the reason we left our profile empty, no photographs and no information in there at all. For these kind of investigations it proves a valid point, why would anyone want to contact someone with an empty profile and the answer is they wouldn't contact anyone but a bot would. And that's who's contacting you on Meet40Plus not a human being.

You could always do your own investigation, create an account don't upload any photographs and you too will see the exact same results that we saw.

Emails Are Not From Real People

When we do these undercover investigations we really like to give you as much proof as possible. We don't like to call out websites for being fake unless they really are. We don't think it's responsible to claim a dating site is phony just because you never got laid on it. So what we do with these undercover investigations is register as a free user make a profile, don't add any photographs and sit and wait and see what happens. And the funny thing with fake dating sites is one of the core deceptive marketing tricks that they love to use is to send people who register as free members on their site bogus email messages. As described in the last section of this investigation our profile was empty but somehow 35 emails poured into our email inbox. And these emails will continue to pour in until we delete our profile on Meet40Plus.com. You can take a look at the screenshot below showing how many emails were sent to us. This is just more proof showing you that we are not lying and everything in our investigation is 100% legitimate.

The email messages all the fake are very sophisticated. These pre composed messages simulate a real person when you read them it looks like a real person sent them to you. What's actually going on behind the scenes is a computer programmer made a software program to make it appear like the emails are real. His duty is to create software that creates fake pre compose emails that are then automatically sent to people who register on Meet40Plus. And of course the scam is that you need to purchase credits to respond to the email messages. That is the real crime here.

An Admittance Of Using Phony Profiles

We are reading through the terms and conditions of Meet40Plus.com. One thing that stuck out was the fact that they state their site is for "entertainment purposes" and it's not there to bring people together. That's a very shocking statement telling us that they consider their website for entertainment it's not a matchmaking service and they also don't want to bring people together. They go on to state that they have the right to send messages to the self-created profiles on their website. So right there they are admitting they have fake profiles that they are creating themselves. And they also admit these are fictitious profiles with which you can never meet in a real life physical situation.

If you ever needed any proof that this was a totally phony hook-up site all you need to do is read the terms and conditions. It's all right there for you and black and white. Read the terms section 5.2 here or you can read them below.

  1. This site is for entertainment purposes, it is explicitly not the aim of this website to bring physical appointments. It can be used to get to know other people and for flirting with other attractive people or with simulated consumer profiles. Festivus Media BV expressly reserves the right to send messages to this page by self-created profiles. These are fictitious profiles with which physical arrangements are not possible.

  2. Festivus Media BV expressly reserves the right to control conversations on the website about self-created profiles. These are fictitious profiles with which physical appointment is not possible.

Final Decision:

There's more than enough proof that this site is not on the up-and-up. The fact that we got messages without even having any pictures in our profile is quite ridiculous. And on top of the fact that in their terms and conditions they tell us that they have self-created profiles that they use on their website. For these reasons and others we suggest you do not use Meet40Plus.com unless you like being played for a fool and giving away your money!

Thank you for such a comprehensive investigation. Have you made a similar test of "Plenty of Fish" and/or "OKcupid"?

This was extremely helpful – thank you. Have you made a similar test of grannysexcontacts.com?

This is the second site l have been on and the first l found out reasonably quick that somethign was sinister, 2 different women messaging me and they were identical messages word for word, and even though l cancelled my account the buggers still took money out my account. As for Meet40plus 3 or 4 women wanted to chat and me being more aware l then asked 2 of them that seemed to be really interested in me that every time l sent a message to them it cost £1 and maybe for us to share email addresses or even talk on skype, when they replied it my questions were totally over looked. ll now know that its fake and glad l was wise enough to pay the small amount l spent with paysafe and no bank accounts

  • Bob says:

I had come to the same conclusion about Meet40Plus.com as your review. I'm pretty sure that Grannysexcontacts.com is working in a very similar way. Some of the profile heading text is truncated abruptly mid word as if it had been imported from elewhere into a fixed character field. Again, no membership fee, just charges for buying message credits. Please investigate them.

    Kind regards,

    Bob

Secretmaturemarket.com are exactly the same, it must be the same people. I immediately realised it was a scam as I also hadn't uploaded any photos yet here were these 'women' overly interested. I didn't pay a penny and hope someone reads this as rest assured, what is said in this article is 100% correct.

I found this site quite by chance snd reading through it I thought lets have go.

I looked through the profiles and saw there were one or two profiles without photos. So I avoided them. Ithen found one I liked and sent a short message back. I got a reply back straight away. I checked it through, the sences made sense and the grammar was correct.

Whilst chatting I learnt where she worked and what department. So I thought I would go and investigate to find out for myself if the profile did exist. From my findings I found the woman in the profile pics actually did exist and worked at the place she said she did. I aquired a pic from the place with her in it, if anyone is asking.

I continued chatting but occasionally I got strange messages which were wholly grammatically incorrect and totally out of contex to our conversation. These I realised was the bot interfering. These messages only came when the person I was chatting to had been offline for a while.

I did one other check. I created a female profile and looked around. There wdre a lot more men who had not put any pics on thier profiles. If this was meant to be a site for men to find women why is the ratio of men with no profile pics greater than womens. Incidentally I received no winks or messages to my fake profile.

I came to the conclusion that yhe profile pics shown, the proof I had found that the person in the profile pics acually existed and worked where she said she did was true. Couple of other things about the profile I was chatting to. What bot tells you to pee off when you have upset them or gives you the equivalent of a hard slap around the face. Surely doing that would make the client leave the site. But a bot wouldn't do that, it wants to keep you here to spend more of your money.

The other thing. I got the woman to send me a pic of herself through her computer cam. It was the same woman

Sorry this has been such a ramble but I wanted people to know that their are genuine women on the site looking for the same thing as you.

One last thing. I did meet her and even though we found we didn't hit it off in real life we still exchanged numbers and text each other regularly.

Dave I have been contacted by a woman on this site and she seems very keen to meet me. everyone says that it’s all a con, but you’re comment seems genuine. To be honest it’s left me confused, how can I be sure. Texts seem good grammar and haven’t been about what I earn, what’s my job, do I have my own house or car. Infacted they have been quite touching. Will stick with it for al little while longer, as they say there’s no fool like an old fool.

Have all the same suspicions.  Found the site accidentally via facebook.  Thought I'd try it, but stayed efficient with money.  Narrowed in on profiles I liked, which said the right things.  However sometimes my questions were ignored.  No profile wanted to do anything but chat.  Links were blocked.  In olden days this was called clipping, a lady would work the street get paid up front, then run out without doing anything.  Nothing new under the sun.  Use a genuine site and randomly find someone interesting.  I still have contact with someone from Yahoo Dating in 2005, that's 13 years – she's gone on to get married and have kids.
