Overview

With this review we ended up creating a free basic account on the site in order for us to do a legitimate analysis of their services. What we found however was something completely different with the site asking for a credit card to verify that we were 18 years of age.

Why Dating Sites Resort To Scamming People

The reason that dating sites scam people is not because they really want to rip you off but it's because there are simply not enough real legitimate horny women looking to hook up with men. Since online dating is a multi billion dollar industry many unscrupulous companies will go to the extent of lying and cheating you in order to make millions of dollars per year. The greed always sets in.

The Fake Female Deception

Fraudulent dating sites use a number of deceptive business practices on unsuspecting consumers. The most popular dating scam is the creation and fabrication of fake female dating profiles. Dating sites such as AdultHookups.com try to pass off these phony women as legitimate members of the service when they are not. Most members have absolutely no clue when they first register on the site that the site is filled to the brim with completely phony dating profiles. Most men who visit these sites are either lonely or horny or both and they let the little head in their pants control their big head and then they can't think straight. This makes it very easy for these dating sites  to deceive people into believing that there are thousands of local women ready to have sex with them at the drop of a dime.
Browsing through the female profiles on the site it's very easy for seasoned veterans to spot the fake profiles at the drop of a hat. This is because the most attractive women on the site are usually the ones that are the fake profiles. The site uses images of the most attractive women possible to grab your attention.

Email From People Who Don't Exist

Dating sites are in it to make money, that's the bottom line. There's absolutely nothing wrong with making money as long as you're providing a legitimate service. The problem with this site is that they are trying to rip people off so they can make millions of dollars every year. Unsuspecting members have no clue that the emails sent to them are fake and are used to lure you in to communicating back to other members on the site. Once you try to communicate back to any members on the site you're asked to provide your credit card information  to activate a "no cost lifetime membership" (see image below).

Unfortunately the free lifetime membership is actually not free at all. If you take a look at that evidence we provided below circled in red.  The paragraph specifically states that you will be signed up for a 2 day membership to VIdeoz.com for one day for $1.00. After 2 days however the membership automatically renews at $39.97 and also automatically charges your credit card every single month until you cancel it. This is how the dating site makes their money, it's a complete scam and they're trying to trick you into thinking that you will get a free lifetime membership and all you need to do is to submit your credit card information to prove you're over 18 years of age. This is completely false and the reason they really want your credit card information is so they can start billing you $39.97 every single month until you cancel your fraudulent membership.

Girls Paid To Chat With You

Also another thing you should be aware of is that AdultHookups pays and employs people to sit and chat with you and pretend to be interested in you. Please don't get sucked into this scam because the only reason these people are interacting and chatting with you is because they are literally paid to sit there and chat with you and send you emails and reply to them. The longer they can keep you as a member of the site the more money they can make off you. It's all about money and they will do anything in their power to cheat, lie and scam you and this is just another method that they use.

The Terms And Conditions

It may be hard for you to believe but all the scams that we have just described are actually listed and detailed on their website on the terms page. Specifically that admit they use computer generated people (fake women). They also admit to employing people and even hiring third parties to enhance your online experience on the site.

On top of that they also admit to using digital introductions (fake emails). Employees and they use these methods to enhance your "online relationship" which basically means they trick you into upgrading to a paid membership. Please click on this link to view the terms and conditions in full directly on the other side. Please go to section 14 under the "Online Emissary" feature and you will find all the evidence we have just detailed right there for you to read.

Dont forget about the women that pose that they live in the states. Also they will only email you or text you, they will never talk to you on the phone or even cam…. They will eventually tell you that they live in Ghana Africa. I have came across a lot of them emails through yahoo and dating web sites. And they all give out the same stories word for word afters 3 years it is exactly the same stories… They are there for schooling or working with there parents.. There dad has died and left her with a fortune.. They need my account info so they can wire me the money to buy her plane ticket back to the states and she will regain the money and marry you… Never happened and never will. I have talked to a lot of men on the dating sites and it is unreal how many of them came across the same women same stories… Then there are the web cam girls that scam you also… Message you to get your skype or cell number or email…. And tell you to go to this site and you will get a  free show.. Not free because you got to register for a membership to that site.. They say its for age verification… Ummm i already got verified through the site i am a member on that i paid for that we just met on.. ?????

There is exactly one and only one Dating Site worth bothering with.

It is called Facebook. It has video service. It is free. People are real.

Step 1 in any relationship with an online person is "Hey can you add me on Facebook?"

Facebook is not 'secure' against 18 year olds (meaning Facebook is a place where you can completely be sure nobody will send you to to try steal money from you) and Facebook has video, meaning that you can remotely contact each other and verify that you aren't ax-murderers. Women can avoid being ax-murdered by Facebook Skyping, Men can avoid being scammed by Facebook Skyping.

On Facebook Skype, you can show each other paperwork credentials, like your driver's license or high school diploma, your house/dorm/apartment, and other things that aren't easy to fake and aren't worth faking verifying you are a real person that is not an ax murderer nor trying to scam you out of money. Facebook is perfect for everyone who isn't homeless and has Internet Access.

Do Not Trust Anyone that refuses to Facebook or somehow seems to not understand the very simple logic involved in determining that Facebook is perfect for everyone.

      Hey everyone,

As far as I can tell, there are only 2 genuinely honest, free dating sites with enough members worth joining. These are:

      1) OkCupid – a brilliant site/app. Honestly, I've got laid so many times with this site, not to mention made new friends, and even had a 9 month relationship with someone I met here.

      2) POF (Plenty Of Fish) – not quite as good as OkCupid, but still trustworthy and with real members. I haven't met up with anyone from this site yet, but it's only a matter of time.

      Happy hunting,

      Tom

      • Scott says:

Don't forget NaughtyFind.com. It's like the naughty/hookup version of POF. It's a truly genuine dating site. You won't find any "emissaries" or bots there. The owner does a pretty good job of cleaning the garbage. It's completely free and even their VIP membership is given away for free.

  • DarthParallax says:

There are many ways that you can get into trouble on Facebook, but these things are utterly unavoidable in any place remotely resembling reality. They might be underage. They might be tranny. Maybe they're a complete psychopath hired by HYDRA and totally have a complete fake identity with a total back story and work history and everything. There's not a lot you can do about those things besides just asking what you think are common sense questions, getting all the information you can from videochat and phone call, and hoping that you live in a world that matches the level of sanity you expect it to have. Facebook solves the problems that are solveable.

  • gs says:

watch out for the trick where prosective date asks you join verification site ,hypothetically you are both members yoa can both leave details of your date mainly for safety reasons asks for you cc details to verify your age and search for any criminal convictions  its all a load of bolocks – scams to get you to pay for things you you do even know you are buying

  • Bob says:

100% archaic slow site with nearly 99% fake profiles and a single picture, usually of a porn actor. This site uses bots to email you rambling nonsensical garbage. When I asked questions like, what city do you live in, I get nearly the same exact response from all of them with: "we tlak for bit, okay see you.” When I asked if they had any other pics or what their interest were, I again got the same reply from each of them , “maybe we to tlak and like my car.”

  • John isaacs says:

Yes all this is what happens on adulthookup.com , scam profiles that chat to you with the intention of keeping you subscribed but they are not foolproof , things give it away, vauge answers to questions or no answers. When you ask to chat on the phone they decline and the profiles are all one picture with the same sort of short profile text and all from the same place and similar age.

Also when I cancelled my subscription before it re-billed on the 15th september, they confirmed the cancellation but I discovered payments for september and october had been taken from my credit card, I am now raising this with my card issuer.

  • Tryson says:
