Overview:

MeetWives.com uses a multitude of deceptions to deceive male members with a free account into upgrading from a free membership to a paid member which costs $29.95. This site throws every scam they can at you so they can make a profit off of your ignorance. FYI, this site is also associated with other know scams such as FlirtHookup.com, HornyAffairs.com and XMeeting.com.

The Emails

The first method that is used to deceive you is the use of phony emails (see evidence below) that are sent to your email inbox. These emails appear to be coming from genuine local women who are supposedly members of the dating service, this however is completely false. The emails are all fabricated using some sort of automated software program, which uses a template. A template is basically a system that has been created to send out pre designed/pre-created email messages to free members. The emails are not real and no one is actually emailing you. Most of the time if you try to read the emails your get directed to the upgrade page and every time you try to reply to any of these phony email messages you are sent to the upgrade page. This scam is used on countless dating sites that we have exposed and this website is no different.

Within minutes of registering on the site we started to receive email messages. Something we should point out is that our dating profile is completely empty, this includes no images and minimal information. The reason we created a profile that has very little information and no images is because it's much easier for us to claim that this site is indeed a fraud.

If you think about it from a logical perspective if you're on a dating site looking for local women the first thing you're going to do is do a quick search and then from there you're going to go look at the photographs. Why are we getting emails from women when our profile is empty, without one single photo? Is is because the site is a con? We think so.

Fake Profiles

If you take a look at the image below you will see just a sample of the women on the site. The problem is that 99% of these women are fake. Do you really think that attractive women like these would be posting nude photos of themselves on a web site called MeetWives.com? Logic would tell that it would make no sense to a married women to upload nude images to a dating site for married people. Men however seem to look past the obvious and don't see the big red flag. These images are not photos of actual members of the site. One way or another these images have either been bought or copied from online sources such as Google. They then build hundreds and possibly thousands of phony profiles with the images and all fake personal data. This gives the appearance to unknowing men that they have hit the jack pot with a site full of beautiful married women. Unfortunately the last laugh is on the gullible men who fall for this con. If you try to contact any of these women by email you cannot do so without buying a monthly membership. This is why they use thousands of fake profiles to lure you into buying a paid membership to contact nonexistent girls.

Evidence The Site Creates Fake Profiles

When claiming that a website is a scam it's always good to back your claims with as much evidence as possible. There is no greater incriminating evidence that when the site itself has documentation stating that they are responsible for the posting of fake profiles as well as sending fake emails to members. In section i6 of this page they admit in great detail to how they run and operate this con.

…"we may post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts that simulate or attempt to simulate your intercommunication with another real human being (though none really exists and any dialog is generated by programming).

This site also admits to hiring people to pretend to be members of the site as detailed here: ...we may employ or contract for the paid services of real persons who may interact with you as part of their compensated employment. While these communications may seem genuine, authentic, and personal, they may be broadcast simultaneously to a large number of persons and possess none of these qualities. While their contents may appear to be true, they may be quite false; while their contents may appear to sincere, they may be quite disingenuous.

Copy and paste the "womens" pics/URL into Google Image and you'll see these pics are pulled from porn sites all over the web. One of their favorites is Motherless.com

    • Admin says:

Thanks for that info! I didn’t realize that was the main site (Motherless.com) for their fake wome.

    • ed d says:

Lolz, i guess im not the only one, i personally like to use tineye.com, just paste the URL from the photo in question(rigt click pic, select- copy image URL) and it collects image match from differet websites, really great tool.

    • Gary says:

I do the same thing!  One who hit me up and supposedly lived a few miles from me came up on Google Image and actually is a stripper in Virginia…does not even live in Colorado.  If you report them, nothing is done!  Total scam.  The newspapers here actually had some articles about it  because people in the post office, sheriff's dept. and other public places got tired of people coming in with these girls' pictures and asking if anyone knew them!!!  LIke I said in another post, also stay away from Amolatina.  It will cost you $25000 a year to talk to a girl and you will never meet her!!!!!!!!!!

  • John Smith says:

This site is a total SCAM. Even if you pay to unlock the messages, you still cannot read them or reply back to them. If you try to get help from their support page you only get an automated response. No phone support either.

  • Gary says:

Meetwives.com, Flirtlocal.com, and Hornyaffairs.com are all scam sights.  The girls will send you a message saying they contacted you because you live close by.  I got one that said she was from Briggsdale, CO and also said there were $000+ other 'matches' in Briggsdale.  Funny, the whole population of Briggsdale is less than 100 people.  Also send the pics thru Google Images and one that contacted me and said she lives in a litle town just a few miles from me actually shows up on Google as a stripper in Vermont!  They will contact you, then ask you to contact them thru an email address.  When you do that, you will get a reply back saying they can't read your email, so contact them thru matchmeetups.com.  It costs around $50 and you search and never find them on there either.  The girls obviously get paid by matchmeetups to get you to sign up!  YOU WILL NEVER MEET ONE OF THESE GIRLS!!!!!  The other ones that chat with you and don't try to get you to sign up????  I don't know what their deal is…bored maybe???

    • Mario V says:

Your story sounds like mine. I'm still getting messages from these girls. Their replay comes back with, my message unreadable and two girls had the same screen name on the same site. What a "shocker". I saw a picture of teacher on xcheaters and sent her a message and mentioned her by name and she never responded. Another scam are some chat sites that have a monthly charge over $50.

  • Justice says:

They especially don't like it when you test intellect and if they pass that test, a distance (geographic) test since most of the messages you'll get are from someone with a shown location well out of the range of free members to get to quickly.

They claim it is for entertainment, but that's only where it begins…

  • Kevin Richardson says:

It's a shame their is nothing that can be done about these low life's making money on the backs of decent men & woman

  • EG says:

The first photo I looked for on Google turned out to be from a news article in Iran on psychological issues with women.  We need to work on psychological issues with men in this country, that prompt them to do nothing more than j-off looking at pictures, and send money they've worked for to these a-holes.

    • Rafael says:

It just happened to me yesterday, before I upgraded I was getting lots of emails once I  paid the baudio and then upgraded for $59.95 I couldn't get in touch with anyone, everything is fake even the stupid questions the women ask, I already cancelled it lesson l armed for stupid.

      • Rafael says:

I am very afraid because I posted a nude picture and even if you delete it I saw the same picture in another site.

      • Admin says:

Call your financial institution and ask them to refund your money from MeetWives.com.

  • EG says:

Continuing to look at this site on google, my second photo was also on fraud, FlirtLocal, and another one in Belgium (I guess she gets dollars and euros)

  • Paul Anyman says:

You are correct about meetwives.com for the most part, however they aren't ALL fake. Or at least, some are real local people, whether they are really interested or not, who knows. I ran a business here for 30 years, and with 16,000 active customers (in a city with 48,000 + outskirts) I got to meet LOTS of people. There are at least 6 out of the ones "supossedly" from here (out of 32 total) that I have met before or recognize as actually living here. Two are well known for being "easy" to meet/meat, if you are so inclined. But then, even the best lies are always based on "some" truth! They work better!

  • Paul Anyman says:

It's funny, but after posting the first message, I went to visit the two "real" sites you listed.

I had NEVER been to either one! Imagine mmy surprise when I find that the username I normally use, is already there! On BOTH! The "profile" is a cut from the one on Adultfriendfinders, which I have met MANY people from. Also, they were without passwords. The first I logged in with the one I used elsewhere several times, and I am in! Directly to am "upgrade" screen telling me I had messages I needed to upgrade to answer! (www.fbookhookups.com) Hmmmm.

The other, http://www.passion.com, is AMAZING! THE VERY SAME "PROFILE" and usernam as the other. And no, I HAD NOT been there before! That one I just typed in garbage as the password and I am logged in.

I am starting to think that AFF is the ONLY one that works. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING on their site seems to find its way to Google, including info, names, and once even REAL names associated with the fakes (Who uses their own???)

    Caveat emptor indeed!

  • Paul Anyman says:

OK, post #3 in a very short time. I actually met someone from meetwives.com today! A "in public, let's see" type meeting. Actually, her posts were very accurate…unless you count her photos (HOT) which HAD to have been 20 years old! Nice, but if I were looking for crones as old as me, I would do it at the Hlaf Century Club!

That said, I tried the "look up photos on Google" bit. HOW the Hell could you do that? Look at EVERY female photot on Google? That shouldn't take but a few thousand years, WITH a fast internet!

Support? I had NOT gotten replies to a couple who had contacted me first, one of which I knew was real. Sent an email support call about not getting messages… Reply came from "Jennifer" (support avatar) in 5 minutes! No explanation yet, even though I gave the other persons ID. But they DID respond. I think you are doing a GREAT service for us horny old farts (among others?) but some of your responses and "their" efforts and such HAVE to be BS! BTW, Ashley Madison IS probably the biggest REAL site out there (maybe a runner up with AFF) but they too have a bazillion fakes trying to scam you. I just don't think it is their doing. I knew someone who worked for them (telecomm) a few years back, and she told me they were legit but did NOT try and find/expose/delete fakes as they had to way to without costing too much $$.

Anyway, I do wish I had heard of you before I did get scammed several times with sites you list. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, just take inputs (mine included obviously) with "some" salt!

Paul, the poor, perverted, penniless, priapismic, old poop

  • Antony Christian says:

You can tell these sites are full of fake profiles…. Im on 3 sites where my username is my mobile number! and from the visits and winks my profile gets….its about time someone noticed that my username is a phone number lol

  • Timi says:

I regreted for paying meetwives.com, i got like 8 messages the week i signed up, even a lady was pressurising me to reply her messages, that part of the reason i payed $29.95. after that i message the 8 ladies but they never reply anymore.

it also shows that 7 out of my 22 friend list are online every time i logged in but i message them no reply.

MEETWIFE.COM is big Scam.  hope my credit card won't be termpered with

  • mbozi says:

Thanks for the details. I was also asking my self when looking at their profile and see that all the womens are student or Ingenieur.

  • peter says:

Well as old as we get, we still get scam. Yes I could tell many storys how I have been scam. Asian Date would be the worst one, but still I tried, then Meet wives, yes I did it again. Why are we men so stupid?

One thing I should point out is I live in a town with less than 100 people, but look up most sites and you will find hundreds more live in my town.

  • ross says:

    same as seekingmilf both scams

  • Tony says:

Hi you old randy geriatics.  Its good to see that we old farts are still as young at heart as our cock allows us to be,I must admit that I have to use viagra to help me a little bit now that I am 74 and widowed. It is the first time that I ahve seen a site telling of the scams that these conmen get up to,I have been mad such a fool of on some of the sites that have been mentioned.  I will not be conned anymore,I will keep on going out to the local nightclub and ogling the ladies that go there. One night I may get lucky.Anyway good luck to you all and don,t get scammed but in the same time don,t give up,there is some woman out there who needs you as much as you need them.Good luck and happy hunting.  PS I feel like I am in my 20s again.

  • Russell says:

Well, how about this.  Has anyone had this happen.  I wounder if several of these sites like Ashley Madison and meetwifes share info.  I never joined either of these sites, yet a have a profile on both,  it has my email and some made up stuff that I "like."  I get emails from both but I can't read them unless I join.  My email is on my FB page.  They might have whole crew who look for names and emails.

  • Patrick McMahon says:

  • M says:

If they have your card number, can they charge it, legally, even if you haven't approved?

    • Admin says:

We don’t think so. If you have charged from MeetWives.com that you never agreed to call your bank and get your money back!

      • Rafael says:

I will be in my bank Firt time on Wednesday because tomorrow will be close for 4th of July and I'm going to get my money back no matter what. I don't work my butt off to give my money away to thieves

  • jsnars2 at aol says:

  • jim says:

    hiya agian

i actual just got a refund from them in full :)) i  keep threatining them with legal action and they gave in

  • Bob M says:

I wrote the following which they refused to list on my profile:

My first goal is to determine the veracity of the site and users
    1. is this a real site.  If I am denied again for questioning veracity, then I know I have hit the motherload.
    2. the authenticity of the participants including the lo0cation, again, if I am denied then I proved falsity.
    3. Why am I so desirable.  I know that I am not that damn special; if denied then I am just a dupe.  On the other hand if you read this, the site and participants are as represented.

  • bill swain says:
