One Big Scam From The Beginning

LocalSexFriends.com is running another clear case of fraud. This website does not even allow you to create a free basic account like most dating sites do. When we filled out the registration form and click on the Join Now button we were redirected to another page which then asked for credit card information because we had to be 18 years of age and we needed to verify that we were over the age of 18 (see evidence below). Unfortunately this whole thing is one big scam created for one reason and that is to get your credit card information so they can start billing you to adult sites.

todays charge

It's always important to read the fine print of any dating site and in this particular case the fine print is located on the lower part of the page and it describes that the charges you will receive when you submit your credit card information. Even though the site claims that they need your credit card strictly for age verification this is completely false. We copied the fine print from the site and you can read it below. You get charged $39.99 monthly from "Cougar Romance" (CougarRomance.com) until you cancel your membership and other charges listed below.

"By pressing 'Click Here For Access', I certify that I have read and agree to the complete terms of membership and billing and that the card entered above is my credit card. Your access to LocalSexFriends includes a 2 day free trial promo to Cougar Romance. If you choose to remain a member of Cougar Romance beyond the trial period, your membership will renew at thirty nine dollars and ninety nine cents. Your membership to LocalSexFriends will be Free for Lifetime."

Even More Charges From Adult Sites

At the very bottom of the page you get charges from even more web sites that include DateForMeNow.com (Date For Me Now) at $39.97 a month,  LocalTogether.com (Locals Together) at $39.95 per month and ConservativeDatersMeet.com (Conservative Daters Meet) at $39.93 per month. All of these charges are recurring which means they continue to charge your credit card every single month until you cancel your membership to every site that you have registered for. If you add up all the charges from this scam it will cost you $159.84 a month until you cancel all the monthly subscriptions!

The bottom line is there really is no dating site called LocalSexFriends.com. The site is a front that redirects you to another page called Cgrlife.com where you start getting charges from 4 different scam dating sites. As we mention the charges add up to over $160.00 per month that continue until you cancel them.

Do you have to call a different number for each website or can you just call the one you provided : 888 656 5815

    • Admin says:

We don’t have a phone nuber for each site. They make it tough to cancel for sure.

    • Ed says:

What if tje chick gave me a legit address

    • Brent says:

U don't call any number or talk to any support skeam linking to this site

    • James says:

Does anyone have long in details I'm getting scarmed by a someone who has a inappropriate photo and I need to long out for her to delete them can some one help?

    • David says:

When it happened to me a couple of years ago, here is what worked

      1. When you see the charge on your bill or bank statement, (on-line banking is faster) look up who the charge actually went to.  Just google it, it will come up. Most likely it will be a legitamite third party billing company with a good phone #. Call them and cancel all accounts with them, I was surprised they had no problem cancelling and refunding.  They are not the scammers, only contracted to do billing. So they want no part of this. That's it, all done. I had the refund within a week. Changed my card, and learned a valuable lesson.

By the way, where did anyone come up with you have to be 18 to get a Visa? My niece got her first Visa debit card at 14.

And if it's free, then you do not need my cc #, period.

      • Luke says:

You have to be 18 because that is when you are legally an adult and can legally enter into a contract. If your 14 year old niece got a credit card, She either lied to them or had a co-signer (not sure if they do that or not), or something like that. They have been using credit cards for age verification for about 30 years now. It’s not new. Hope this helps.

    • ERIC says:

I called one number: 1-888-285-9533 and the guy had me removed and said the full refund will be returned to me within 7 to 10 days, and if not, to call them back and they will process it again. Also the woman's name that contacted me was : Meghan Tyler. her number is (207)614-6569.

    • Craig85006 says:

The are very clever to have $39.99 typed out as thrity-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents.  Most people would just scan the terms to look for actual numbers and would miss the charge. I read throughly, which is how I discovered it. JERKS!

  • help... says:

So can I phone and cancel to make sure I don’t get charged? What number, I’m seriously worried about getting charged all that money now !!

    • tacoma says:

just report your card lost the new card will have a differnt ccv number and the info they have wont work anymore

      • Ryan says:

        Did that work for you?

        • Scam eater says:

I called up my bank and they cancelled  my card and are giving me my money back I got charged 50 not 39.99 and another thing when u entered your password to sing up hope u didn't use a password that u use for other things like Facebook Skype email ect cause they can link your info

      • Andrew says:

Smartest Plan Of Action I heard on here so far. Got Scammed?  Things happen, don't beat yourself up about it, learn from it, move on and cancel your card. You will get a new card number and CVV which BLOCKS their ability to charge your account moving forward. Although that means all other similar online charges aka AMAZON EBAY PAYPAL, will need to be changed too. Now I'm not too sure if the same rule applies in the US, I'm almost certain they do, but in the UK, transactions made by credit card where you were scammed by online deception that was not reasonably clear what you were signing up for. That money technically isn't your debt as you were misled into buying something with the bank's money that turned out to not be a scam. Essentially, it means, you the user of the banks money was mislead and scammed. Statutory Rights mandate that your bank should raises this with their own payment protection insurance provider that will refunds them, then they refund you the difference.

Also the information is then passed on to their Fraud Prevention Team which attempt to issue nation-wide screening on any transactions made to that site – basically the VISA verification process will suspend the sale and prompt you that this could be illegitimate please provide more details etc so on and so on. Now, if you used a Debit Card, and you have been charged, sorry peeps you have no protection unless you have payment protection insurance.

These laws protected the bank's money from our online mistakes not our mistakes with our own money – good old fashioned capitalism, right! Maybe look into this with your credit card provider and first and foremost cancel your card.

        Peace ; )

    • Brandon says:

i had the same thing with another site scamed 70 out of me then a total diferent person connected threw them took another 50 it was just pathetic if they did these sites proply they probly would earn more money

I have a question I have been talking to this girl and she has told me that I have to get some gold pass before we meet n her speaker is broken in her phone so all we've done is text no meeting and she directed me to these sites and put 100 on a net spend card in order to get the gold pass so we can meet but I think I'm being taken can u help me ?please

Dude, you are being fucked over. He's leading you. Yes, he.

        • James glotx says:

All these women seem to have a bad phone. I should recommend they get food stamps then that can get a free phone that works.

        • Dave says:

You are definatly being takin, ask her to take a selfie holding a piece of paper with your name written on it fitst, if she manages to do it it s a scam trust meo went yhrough them all

  • eamonn peters says:

I just entered debit card details, but was not allowed access. will I get charged as the site has my details now?

  • Rob - UK says:

Anybody who submits there credit or debit card details to any of these scam sites get onto your credit card company or bank straight away and tell them you have lost your card. They will then cancel the card and stop the scam sites getting your money each month, you will have to wait a few days for a new card but its much better than keep having ur money taken just like that every month and trying to contact all the sites to cancel.
Trust me it works when you report your card lost but i would say if you have had money taken report it stolen and try ask for a refund because you have not authorised anyone to take money from your account!

    • Scam eater says:

They can only take money of u by using your card details that u have gave them so soon as u call the bank to cancel your card the better

  • bobby says:

i just said me and my ol debit card details. what they didn’t give me excess.
and i don’t have received any reply. so i want to make sure. i don’t get charged

        • Richard says:

funny you say that lol….im on here because of this "woman" AMY ELENA, and after seeing this site, it's EXACTLY what I figured! • A Former Employee says:

They're called 4 Media Online (http://www.4mediaonline.com/). They operate out of South Florida, but as far as I can tell they use banking services all over the world to process credit cards and throw people off the trail.

They routinely hire on web designers and expect them to crank out new dot COMs (dating sites). At the time it looked like they were expanding to have 4 designers at one time, all cranking out 8-12 sites a week each (ideally, 4 a day). Despite the niche groups the sites target, each site features the same profile pictures by the thousands — all fake and admittedly stolen from Match.com and other sites.  The sites have incredibly bad flaws in their searching abilities. "Ah, that's not a big deal. As long as Local Sex Friends works fine, and it does." (only time I heard the name Local Sex Friends).

For a time, I took pride in the quality of my work.  It didn't matter to the company.  All they cared about was speed.

Each website batch (4 at a time, typically) were from different companies. Tod Holdings Limited. Plutus Associates Limited. Shavrel Limited. Stuff like that. All very weird names, and each one seemed to not exist beyond maybe having a dot COM that showed a generic "web marketing firm" site — some of them were using the same site. It really seemed like they were just making more and more "off shore shadow companies" just to lessen chances of big losses.

They paid VERY well and lavished their employees like kings. It's probably the only way they can convince people to take part in fraud. I hadn't quite worked out the conspiracy theory yet, but I found it unusual what we were doing and started asking questions. Three different departments simply said, "I don't ask questions, I just do (this task of the process)."

I told a casual story about my law education re: piracy and how I'm strongly opposed to, and will not use pirated software, songs, etc for my own protection (and went so far as to force a past employer to buy a license, and kicked out a pirating roommate who was using a connection in my name). They let me go within 24 hours without a reason. They probably think I didn't notice their computers were all using thousands of dollars of pirated software, each.

Being freed from them was the biggest weight off my chest I've ever had.

  • Worry guy says:

This damned site, has scammed me, I cancelled my acount from localsexfriends.com, not on the other like

"Down this road again!", "Ask me for a first date!" and "Join larger than life romance!"

but I cancelled my credit card.

Now, I'm worry about one thing, if these 3 site have all my info like address and name, and the membership account sill activated.  Do these companies can build a bill and purchased me to pay it ???

    • Sneak says:

How did you actually delete the account Ive tried from their Customer Support but it isn't working and I can't contact them via their number.

  • bryan says:

immediately call your bank hotline, reach the credit card services, report fraud on the specific transactions. they'll read you off the transactions in which have taken place. claim those as fraudulant. they will further cancel your credit card so the scamming company no longer can use that cards information to keep charging you. furthermore, at least with wells fargo, you will be refunded the credit. most large banks have had people call previously about websites such as these and have a database of urls for fraudulant scam dating sites. you will be sent a fraud form to confirm that these are in fact fraudulant money scams and they will refund you and those fuckers will not see 1 penny.

  • Jasmine says:

Just wondering what the charge appears on your account I think my husband was scammed and he swears he didn't buy anything online but now has a 39.99$ charge for a weed.com pending can't find what it is thanks

    • Lisa says:

Did you ever find out what your husband got for the 39.99? I see these charges on my husbands account as well. Is it just sexting or more?

  • don says:

I just got done by them,

i had been talking to a girl online and she asked me to sign up as it proved my identity and it was a good way to be safe.i even contacted my credit card company to be check and the person said it could be a legitimate as it is used by companies to join some online shopping.

  • Logan says:

    Her name is Kim Lee

Found her on AshleyMadition.com. I am cheap and didn't want to pay anything. Her username is kimlee009988_at_-gMAiI–_. So I emailed her with my secondary email. At first she was willing to meet in the next day but she needs that I help to vote her cam model on that site. She sent me the link and a promo code and keep convincing me that it's free of charge. Thanks for this forum that stop me from going further. I told her I work for a company as a computer security. I didn't trust that website. Now, Kim Lee has stoped writing back to me. LOL

  • Jason says:

How do I find my subscriber ID to cancel?

  • BobOnMyNob says:

For all you poor, pathetic, non pussy getting but pussy hungry loses out there, let me give you a little advice. Never, ever give your CC/debit card information to any website that you aren't completely sure of. Especially if it's coming from a hot chick that you know is out of your league. Remember the golden rule you little pervs, "if it sounds to good to be true,  it DEFINITELY is!" Please stop being retards and getting screwed over by the utmost level of douche baggery there is. Never pay for pussy no matter how desperate/deprived you are. Especially if you need to pay for it first. I hope this helps… I say all of this out of the kindness of my heart guys. P.S. if you're ever unsure of something like this, always do a little research first.

    • Christopher says:

I agree. Dating artists like David DeAngelo say it's all in the attitude that money has nothing to do with attraction and no woman is out of your league if you have the right mindset… however I look at the quality of his and other dating artists' lifestyles and think that money and income has everything to do with it… the behavior and personality traits are secondary. The Sampson-like power comes from having the social status and income of a rock star or a movie actor and a very large social network. If those guys like DeAngelo and the ones operating Real Social  Dynamics weren't so well off financially nobody would have heard of them outside their peer group. They wouldn't have had a site up nor would they have bootcamps, workshops or take home products to offer. My advice to anybody is do your search in person or don't do it at all. A warning to everybody…  I've been banned from stores and businesses, gotten into fights with alpha male other guys, even had the police called on me for implementing pickup strategies from the DoubleYourDating.com and other seduction artisits' sites… if it sounds too good to be true it generally is.

  • will says:

I joined localsexfriends then about an hour ago I found out it was a scam.I only gave them my card number and they did charge the 1.95. NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO THIS SITE.  and thank you all for saving me on this

  • Keith says:

If I give them a debit card that got no money on it can they still charge me once I add money to the card?

  • Michael says:

My son in law cheated on his wife with a debit card.  They scamed more and more money to the tune of 800 bucks out of him.  It finally caught up to him.  Now who knows about their marriage.

  • Michael says:

Has anyone wired money to an address in the Phillipines and if so why?

  • Jmatthew says:

Did anyone's card actually go through?  Do they just say your card didn't go through and keep the info for themselves.  I want to think that since they didn't accept my card I won't get charged; but if I were running a fake site, getting cc info and then denying access because it's "not accepted" would sound like a plan to me.

  • Bob says:

Just got hit upmyself my spideysense was kinda going off but I did it anyway so stupid but rather than add my CC info I used a debit card from a secondary account should I still cancel this debit cards I still. Do occasionally use it

  • Andy says:

Just this thing guys, i've always get into this kind of site.. and i don't use any of my personal cards but i always use a prepaid/reloadable card. much better and safer way to get online without thinking to be scammed

  • Kevjack says:

They keep saying if I cancel they can still get money off me is this true

  • Lisa says:

Does this site charge you 39.99 just to get text messages?

  • John says:

well thats not true i met different guys with that verification id . This Verification ID i'm talking about is for the site to know who were with so whatever happen to us they can call the authorities, that's the very essence of it. I hope you understand me,so i can give you my full trust in you when we meet,it makes me comfortable meeting someone right? i don't mean that you will hurt me, i just want to feel safe and comfortable when we meet, i hope you understand my concern honey ,i hope i didn't offend you guys.

  • Kyle says:

I put in my card info three times and it said card declined every time.  Bank calls me 30 min later saying it processed three times at $35 or so each time..

told the bank it was fraud and so they terminated my card and canceled those transactions… Does anyone know if it's going to still renew that subscription next month even with a new card?

So,guys do you think I’ll get charged anyway, and on both card ? Is that the trap ? The msg that your card is declined and they get your credit card details ? Or do you guys got your account confirmed and received the confirmation email ?? I got nothing and can’t login with my credentials.

Shall I cancel both credit cards straight away just in case ?

Thanks in advance for the info you can give me on this.
